Sweeping
We keep your roads, paths and squares perfectly clean
Terranor has Denmark’s undisputed largest sweeping department with a fleet of over 30 sweepers for all kinds of sweeping jobs – both ordinary and the more specialised.
Modern equipment and skilled professionals ensure that we deliver the right quality at the right time and the right price. We can guarantee this thanks to our many years of experience on private roads as well as municipal, state and former county roads. Terranor is of course nationwide.

When Terranor performs its sweeping tasks, it always does so with the utmost focus on traffic safety and traffic efficiency, and our sweepers therefore always work in the direction of travel.

Traffic Safety
Signs and Barriers
Terranor ensures road safety and regulates traffic at major and minor road works to improve accessibility. For us, safety is a high priority and an ever-present issue, combined with smooth logistics.
Conditions on our roads are changing. More and more cars are on the roads, and with them the risk of accidents. But those who use our roads still have the same needs. Both private motorists and commercial vehicles need to get from A to B safely and without delay.
Improving safety for road users and road workers
At Terranor, we have developed a complete solution consisting of a number of service modules that together increase safety for both road users and road workers.
I
We take responsibility for the entire process, from drawing up traffic plans and obtaining permits from the authorities to setting up the correct signs and barriers.
We can also provide you with all types of equipment, such as board trucks, barriers, traffic lights and road chicanes – and of course we can also provide supervision and dismantling once the work is completed.
In other words, we take care of all your safety needs.

Some examples of what we can help you with:
Drainage of Roads
Discounts and drainage of roads.
Proper maintenance of verges, ditches, wells and pipes extends the life of roads and pavements.
Water on the road is a dangerous cocktail for drivers.
When the verge grows, the water cannot be diverted away from the road, creating a risk of aquaplaning.
I
In the long term, the edges of the asphalt will be destroyed and the drainage profile of the flower beds will have to be re-established.

Profile Concrete
Profiled concrete – new construction and renovation of kerbs
Do you need to lay new kerbs or do you have kerbs that need renovating? Profiled concrete is a quick and inexpensive alternative to traditional kerbs.
Profiled concrete is kerbstone that is laid, reinforced and poured on site in a single operation.
With the new machine technology, the curb is slipformed into the desired profile. The kerb is perfectly adapted to the road conditions, so you are guaranteed an attractive, uniform solution. For renovations, the new kerb can be cast directly on top of the old one, avoiding costly excavation and disposal.
A solution with profiled concrete is significantly cheaper than traditional kerbs and the work is carried out significantly faster because there is no time-consuming excavation and setting of loose, pre-cast stones.
How to lay profiled concrete
Two-three men work in and around the Terranor mobile casting truck.
One man sets up barriers and marks off.
I
The mobile trolley lays rebar and vibrates concrete into the mould in one operation, shaping the finished curb as it moves forward.
The team can lay 600-800 metres per day, including demarcation and clean-up.
After about a day, the kerb can be put into general use.
“We find that the speed at which we carry out work is of great value to many of our customers. It means a lot to them that traffic on the affected roads is inconvenienced for as short a time as possible.”

Spuma Weed Control
Make weed control greener with Spuma®
Now you can keep weeds down and the environment clean with 100% pesticide-free foam.
Terranor has developed an environmentally friendly thermal method to control weeds. The system is called Spuma®. The weeds are covered by hot water and a layer of insulating foam, after which the unwanted plants dry out and wither away. The foam consists of corn and coconut sugar.
Environmentally friendly weed control
The foam is environmentally neutral, it disappears in minutes and leaves no harmful substances.
I
Spuma® protects both groundwater and surrounding plants. But it also controls stubborn weeds very effectively. We apply Spuma® both by truck and by hand lance.
